EXPERIENCE

On this tour, we will spend a full day exploring the most iconic sites in northern Tenerife.

Our first stop will be Teide National Park, located in the heart of Tenerife and home to Spain’s highest peak: Mount Teide. Here, we will pause for about 30 minutes to admire the breathtaking volcanic landscapes of Las Cañadas del Teide, including the emblematic Roques de García.

Next, we will descend to Icod de los Vinos, where you will have the chance to see the famous Drago Milenario, a legendary dragon tree said to be over 800 years old. You’ll also have free time to enjoy lunch on your own or indulge in Canarian gastronomy, with recommended menu options available at select local restaurants.

Our journey continues to Garachico, a charming coastal village whose history was shaped by a volcanic eruption in 1706. We’ll stroll through its picturesque historic center, recognized as a Cultural Heritage Site and one of the most significant in the Canary Islands. Here, you can explore highlights such as El Caletón’s natural pools, formed by lava flows, or the Castle of San Miguel, an ancient fortress built to protect the town from pirate attacks.

Finally, we will venture into the lush landscapes of Teno Rural Park and arrive at the breathtaking hamlet of Masca, nestled among dramatic valleys and ravines. Be captivated by the charm of its traditional Canarian architecture, as this unique enclave has been declared a Site of Ethnographic and Historical Interest and a Cultural Heritage Site.

The tour starts once all participants are on the bus.

From southern Tenerife or Puerto de la Cruz.*

Pick-up and drop-off will be at the nearest meeting point to your hotel.

*The route from Puerto de la Cruz differs slightly: after visiting the National Park, the itinerary is reversed, passing through Masca, Garachico, and finally Icod de los Vinos.

SUITABLE FOR

This tour is suitable for people with disabilities or reduced mobility. Each bus can accommodate up to two wheelchairs and offers priority seating at the front. However, participants must be able to board the bus with the assistance of a companion.
