DIVING COURSE – PADI OPEN WATER

PADI INTERNATIONAL CERTIFICATION – 1° LEVEL (MAX 18 METERS)
- Duration: 2-3 days with an instructor (4 dives from the beach + 1 dive froma a boat)
- Includes e-learning for indipendent study
YOU WILL LEARN
- Confidence and skill as a diver
- How to assemble and use scuba gear
- Buoyancy management
YOU WILL BE QUALIFIED TO
- Dive with a buddy who has at least an Open Water Diver certification, without an instructor’s support
- Enroll in continuing education courses to further develop your underwater skills
PADI E-LEARNING
- Learn basic knowledge about the underwater world, physics, and physiology applied to diving.
- PADI eLearning makes it easy to fit scuba lessons into a busy schedule. Learn about scuba diving principles and terminology whenever, wherever it’s convenient for you.
- You have up to a year to finish the theory! It’s your course on your time.
- Study offline or online using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor whenever you have a question.
- E-learning time commitment: 5-10 hours.
WITH YOUR INSTRUCTOR
- Five practice dives using scuba gear at sea under the guidance of our experienced instructors.
- You will practice using basic scuba gear, including a mask, fins, snorkel, regulator, buoyancy control device, and tank, to feel safe and comfortable underwater.
- Learn how to prevent and manage problems. One of the dives will be from a boat to put all you have learned into practice.
- Time commitment: 2-3 days.
DEPARTURE

REQUIREMENTS
- No flying or altitude changes after diving (12 hours)
- No alcohol or drugs
- Must be healthy: be aware of blood pressure, breathing, mental, ear/back/heart problems, pregnancy, etc.
SUGGESTION
- Bring a small backpack as the boat’s capacity is limited and everything can get wet
- Have a light breakfast
- Take biodramine 30 minutes before to prevent seasickness
- Mornings are best: more fish and better sea conditions
WHAT TO BRING
For your diving course in Tenerife, we recommend bringing a swimsuit, flip flops, towel, hat, sunscreen, and lots of enthusiasm to become a diver!
