Playa de Las Teresitas is one of the most iconic beaches in Tenerife, located just north of Santa Cruz. Unlike most of the island’s volcanic beaches, Las Teresitas is covered in fine golden sand imported from the Sahara, giving it a unique tropical look. The sea is calm and shallow thanks to a large breakwater, making it perfect for swimming and safe for families with children. Lined with palm trees and offering amenities like showers, sunbeds, beach bars, and a large parking area, it’s a favorite among locals and visitors alike. It’s also a great spot for paddleboarding or simply relaxing under the sun with a view of the Anaga Mountains in the background.
